Born and raised in San Francisco, CA, Shelly Blair is no stranger to the music industry. Classically trained on violin and viola, she spent most of her life playing in various orchestras and string programs. Her love for God and music began at an early age and was nurtured in her local church and at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. Her sound has transformed into her own, but the message has remained the same.

Shelly began writing songs during her college years at Tennessee State University. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Music, she decided to fully focus on her music career. After doing multiple demo projects for other artists and background vocalist work, and being committed to the music department at her church, she finally stepped out to be a solo artist.

 

Her message is simple. Never give up. God created each of us with a purpose and it's His desire that we live out that purpose. The ministry and message of her 2018 EP release entitled, "Wake up Your Dreams", embodies just that. Her prayer is to always keep the focus on God and help others find their purpose in God and life.
